My Mission – If You Will Allow Me To Do It

Is to lead and guide you through the preparation and presentation of your most special …… Wedding  or other Ceremonial Day. I am committed to ensuring that you are not only 100% satisfied with the final ceremony, but that the creative experience, from start to finish, is a relaxed, fun and memorable time. With the final result being the most meaningful, romantic, poignant, personal and individual, ceremony you could imagine.

I am acutely aware of the many different cultural beliefs and customs that our wonderful country embodies and am completely sensitive to specific religious and multicultural issues.

Who am I?

I’m glad you asked! I have been married for over 40 years to the one Bride of my life. We have two adult children who are also married with families of their own, having blessed us with six absolutely beautiful grandchildren. I am completely passionate about the “institution” of Marriage and take great joy in seeing couples, of all ages, coming together on their wedding day.

I conducted my first wedding in 1988 and am very excited now at the prospect of being appointed as your Celebrant and I know that my previous experience has given me the understanding and insight that will enable me to help you prepare for YOUR most special day.

In 1990, I was appointed a Justice Of The Peace in W.A. a position which I still hold today continuing to perform the duties and responsibilities of that qualification, both in W.A. and also here in Qld.

My main hobby, which is current and on-going, is that of an, amateur, on-stage, actor. This stage experience helps me work well and confidently with an audience to ensure your wedding is a complete success and wonderful time for all.

I am acutely aware of the need for all wedding ceremonies to be as individual as the couple being married.  So, with this in mind, along with my desire to ensure that you have the best day possible, YOU and I will work together to create your individual and exclusive ceremony. It can be as involved or as simple as you desire. As your chosen Celebrant, I will remain available to help you, every step of the way, from the initial draft/template to the finished ceremony. We will work on it, together, until you are 100%, completely, satisfied that the ceremony, we will conduct together, will be truly representative of how you want it to be remembered. THIS IS YOUR DAY to be remembered as YOU want it.

That is just a quick snapshot of who I am, thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little. My desire, now, is that your day would be the greatest “Happily Ever-after” occasion you could imagine. A day filled with nothing but wonderful, joy-filled, memories which started your “for better” life ahead.

Coming From Another Country To Get Married Here?

Please pay particular attention to the Australian requirements which may differ greatly from your own country as for notification periods required. For example Japanese Marriage does not require a notice period, Australia requires that all couples intending to marry, whether they are Australian Nationals or not, give one full month’s notice and the required Notice Of Intended Marriage Form must be witnessed before the required period.
